Soon you will not even have a mouse or a keyboard. Just talk to the computer and it will spell and write for you. Can do it now but soon it will just be another accepted way of doing things daily.

how many times have you had people screw up? pull out in front of you, text and drive etc etc etc My computer most likely wont freeze up today - but i bet a person pulls out in front of me. Its coming whether we like it or not. Which i actually dont like or use much tech but always interested in where it goes. Computers run nuclear power plants etc for the most part. Yes with human over sight - but less and less of it. the delivery systems are hoping for this. Look across the country and no one has enough CDL drivers. The young dont want to do it and the demands are more and more. They would love automated trucks

So i cleaned out my gun safe. Sold some guns. Yes, yes I know - for shame...... But i had 5 guns for a 3 week deer season and never fired a shot or filled a tag this year or last (did fire once) gun season. Tired of having safe queens that never see the light of day. And i am not a collector guy so i have passed some on. Gave a shotgun to a buddys son last year as well. So i am down to one deer rifle and one deer shotgun. The rifle is a winchester 30/30 ive had since i was 16 and will never get rid of cause me and my Dad split it and its a shooter. So this will be my primary gun for deer hunting. This whole season was thinking - why do i have all these? They all do the same thing. Still have guns for birds and small game as well - but 5 guns for a 3 week season just doesnt make sense to me - just excess.

my brother retired and moved from Watertown to Adams - lol. We aint the brightest family. Hes got a passle of grandkids out there, so fights the snow.

it is forecasted that by 2025 10% of the vehicle market will be autonomous(city transp and trucking will be first), we will have a mars mission, grocery stores will be converting a lot more to online warehouses where you shop and just pickup or have delivery, drones will be used heavily by police departments, each person will have 9 online/wireless connections, and the scariest of all........3D selfies.......ahhhhhh. My question has always been how does education keep pace? When you can ask a computer any question in the world and basically get a video, schematic and diagram instantly - what would you go to school for????

every vehicle now has a black box and computer - unless your buying retro your not getting away from the tech. Most of it comes standard and every year that increases. Within 5 years insurance companies will almost make you install a GPS device - we have them in every work vehicle already. And these will also be standard on vehicles as an option for you to track personal vehicle info and security etc. Even base models.

self driving tech is coming. They will prove it is safer than a human operation. The computer wont be distracted, be eating, tired, under the influence, listening to the radio, texting etc....... and everyday how many times do people pull out in front of you, not come to a stop etc etc. Insurance companies will show its safer to have a computer operate than people. Tech is going to be exponential over the next ten years. Only thing holding it back will be peoples worries but it will increase and younger people except and want it more. I actually see cars in cities being driverless first. Slower speeds and more need for transp. Car sharing and "pod" cars have been in the plans for years for urban areas and tech is catching up to the idea. number one cause of accidents - driver error

was looking into some cabins/vac rentals in the lewis county area. Me and a buddy were thinking of going up there for three days of early muzzleloader. He isnt interested in hunting for a bear but would cert hunt for deer so thought this might work for both of us. He would take about any deer that came thru for sure. Then a "wrench" to the monkey......since when is Lewis county buck only for muzzleloader? - that sucks. Def not a lot of deer up there in most spots so i can see why but didnt know that. Glad i looked before booking. I remember going up there for gun season many years ago and hope to see a deer. So he wont be interested in that. Gotta go to plan B. Found a nice place out side of Adams with 400 acres to hunt and can take a doe with muzzle.... problem is its pretty expensive for us. So still looking. Right now main plan is a little summer scouting for food sources and then going into Lewis county for the early season for a day or two from home and hope for the best. Right now i am eyeing a run of power lines in the town of Greig. Need to walk them and look for some apples and some sign and of course open access.
