    just bought a new scope with my rewards points. I let the points build up til i can cash them in for a gift card to bass pro or walmart and buy hunt/fish gear with it. I put bigger purchases on mine that i am ready for anyway and then pay it right off. Just bought a new dryer which i was gonna anyway so might as well get some bonus for it, isent the payment to them before i even got my bill. Also good to have if an emergency. I also use it for any online purchase so that i dont risk my bank card for theft.

    i just put all mine away . Washed with scent free detergent and stored in closet. But by season time next year they will take on some odors so I usually wash them again in Aug and then hang outside in a shed for the season and then wash and ozone them as i need to.

    i used the ozone scent crusher bag. I have a pair of thermal underbunks that it about the ate the elastic band from. Hard to say if it truly works or not. But i used it a lot and had a good season and stuff smelled like ozone. I mostly used it in between hunts and still washed and hung stuff outside like i usually do.

    i am going sat to look for the sheds from the muzzle buck i shot last week. I think they were really close so gonna give it a good look

    dunno if you watched the show before that but his kids were tools on that show, i actually liked him. Then the youngest one comes up with a show "for love or likes" that was just ridiculous. It was basically a dating game for him by the looks of it. Their show was awful. lol It was one of the outdoor shows i just couldnt stomach .

    was just reading some info on it. Guess the owner passed two years ago and they struggled since. And a lot of people in Virginia just lost their jobs before xmas. Hate to see this stuff. Quality equipment and they couldnt keep it going.

    i just ordered a dozen bolts. Yeah there is a lifetime guarantee but am sure that doesnt get covered if they are gone. Yeah seemed real sudden.

    I just got an email letter from Parker bows that they are closing operations as of today . That sucks I really like my parker crossbow - and they were all made in the USA.

    wow - weird to have it break off like that in the neck. I had that happen on a doe i hit too much shoulder before and it broke about that same amount. But the neck you would think would be in farther. Good thing they didnt get cut by it. Tough critters!

    The older/father from wildgame nation also did something like this. He shot a small elk and didnt tag it or something and left it. Got caught. Couldnt stand that show before that. There are several good ones. Just like everything else have to weed em out .

    agreed. I once singed up for one of the "free" hunting trip contests. Got nothing but endless calls and they signed me up for a subscription to magazine and it was like $25 a month. I got it cancelled and they actually sent me the mag free all year. But yeah call after call. never did that again. I shouldve realized that would happen but the subscription thing was BS

    Has nothing to do with commercialism. But it does give me a chance to show she is appreciated. She loves Xmas and works hard to provide for her kids. And for her to have no gifts just wouldn't be right , at least in my book. I try to do something for her as she does so much for others you couldn't even imagine. And it doesn't have to be expensive just something to make her day. Not a thing wrong with that.

    Got her a pic made of her favorite place to camp framed up. Gift card to Kohl's, a canopy for camping and BBQs, mixing for her favorite drink.
