  1. First time visit to L.L.Bean in Victor didn't impress me. I do, however like their warranty policy.
  2. FHTTEUS ( Funny how these threads end up sometimes.)
  3. Logged in a few hours of shed hunting yesterday. Found a hole in my boot. Deer trails still being used, rubs and scraps still active. Was worried about bumping deer, that didn't happen. Got into some thick under brush; my face tells the rest of the story. Main focus was to look for fallout from the season as well as car kills. An average year is three, this time around zed to zip. Good feeling not finding any. Couple local stubs lost a side or two. Quite excited as to maybe find those. Enjoy the new year and good luck to those looking!
  4. A couple inflatables, a bobblehead hen and jake. Placement depending on time of the season. I sold all my plastic decoys; to balky A trio for thirty bucks. My big strut tom for forty. Bought them out of the first Walmart, older than the hills. People placing them in their yards. Moneys money.
  5. Nice to see a turkey pic.. Once we lost the insects in the hay fields mid August, turkeys moved on. Turkeys always during deer season other years, just wasn't the same this.
  6. Some of the Lake Plains area is a non rifle area. It is also a antlerless only; early bow, late muzzleloader. This means one more kick in the .......
  7. Taylor has to much talent for the Bills. He'll be going where the money is.
  8. You have witness a halo around the full moon on Christmas. Something that hasn't happen since 1977.; won't happen again till 2034. Been seeing a lot of halos all deer season. Lot of ice in the atmosphere. Your right Wooly, know body seems to care much anymore. My sister in law asked what moon I was talking about, LOL.
  9. Have't had a chance to watch much this season. Their playing the Cowboys and I'm still seeking revenge on the Super Bowl losses of the 90's. Just can't let it go, LOL.
  10. Happy birthday wooly! Enjoy the zoom lens coffee cup. Just exactly how does this thing work? LOL.
  11. Sad to see such a waist. Far better to find the shed., any day. Just the reality of hunting.. Wish you luck in your quest!
  12. That BS Skillet, is coming from a high and alarming powerful governmental agency in this state. Who's really to blame for the decisions made forth?
  13. I'm glad to see, by this posting that their are still some decent people that still care for our environment. Thank you and keep up the great work!
  14. Merry Christmas! May the true meaning of this holiday season reflex in your heart.
  15. Mild night but the wind came up quite strong at 4 am., so I decided to get out of the stand. No coyotes but did see a lot of deer roaming in the moonlight. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
  16. The sunset time have been increasing for a few days now. Of coarse, those of us still hunting know this. Sometimes that extra minute or two can make a difference during the muzzleloader season.
  17. Breeding is resurfacing once again here. Bucks on the move. Antlerless muzzleloader season only. Nocturnal doe, which is normal for this time of year. Only option is to shoot buck fawns, which we refuse to do. Now how is this antlerless only plan working out for you, New York DEC.?
