    My wife realizes that our normal life goes on hold, when deer season roles around. It has taken 33 years, but shes finally realized it, LOL.

    Their were fish swimming up the ditches of my farm today, last day of June no less. About 4 feet deep water. Had the waders on for frog'in.

    Understand the DEC.recommends not to feed birds in warmer weather because of bear, but what about feeders for Finches, and sugar water feeders for humingbirds?

    Enjoyed your film. Could see the red wad fly through at the turkey. Tried to stop the footage 3min 49 1/2 seconds, when the bullet hit the turkey, unsucessful. To see that point of impact, quite interesting.

    Are their any honey bees working the blossoms?

    Use to grow buckwheat for pancake flour. Planted it from June 10th to July 20th.That way, had half a chance to get some yield from some field. Buckwheat don't like hot weather, blossoms will blast and not set seed. They call it the poor mans crop, because it never needed fert.. Emits a chemical from the roots to kill weed seed, seedling. Don't know how much deer like it, but turkeys do.

    Recorded 5 inches in Lockport, Niagara County; this afternoon. What a mess out here! We're not alone I understand some parts of central NY. are also in bad shape. Hope everyone stays safe!

    Have had 1 2/10" from 8 last night till 8:30 this morning. Steady light rain continues. Rainy day on Sundays always get me down.( Classic from the Carpenters)

    Heavy downpours started a 8 last evening, through the night. Ditches are full, yet again.

    Went back to pull SD card after a month, where seeing the buck during turkey, and said it was locked. What a dissapointment.

    A sandwich called the Po Boy at the Brickyard up in Lewiston. Love that sandwich. Their ribs are killer. They have the best BBQ.
