Can get a real good close look at turkeys two times during the year. One, at a hen with poults by her side. Two, holding a weapon in hand on a newly called in turkey.
It's nice for those people that don't get a chance to interact with such animals though. I'd like to look at Four Season's whitetails deer, just to see some great work, that's being done.
I prefer to hunt afternoon on opening day as I prefer cooking breakfast in the morning.Once in a while, the aroma of cooking venison sausage bring the deer in or as it seems. I tipped a buttered pan over once, as I took a shot.
