    I prefer to hunt afternoon on opening day as I prefer cooking breakfast in the morning.Once in a while, the aroma of cooking venison sausage bring the deer in or as it seems. I tipped a buttered pan over once, as I took a shot.

    I practice and shoot from multi positions and angles. The one I prefer is the one that will get the job done for which it was intended to do.

    I built one using a 6 volt tractor generator; small scale. Small sealed cabinet. It worked on sweat smell from my hat.

    Very nice. Hold on to that picture and the memories. I still have one in frame, my son drew when he was in first grade, similar to yours. He's now 32 and a avid deer hunter.

    Good time for blossoms. Your helping the wildlife as well as the insects. Honey bees will enjoy working the flowers till noon bringing in needed reserves for winter feeding. Shortage of honey in drought pron areas.

    I usually pass the gas I have been holding in for hours. Let a nice loud one; echoing through the trees.What a relief. I then get the hell out of there. Whispering is the least of my worries at my age!

    We used the "Butt Out" tool for a year or so, when they first came out. Broke off right at the shaft and was stuck up the deer's yaa-zoo.

    Many days of northwest winds during deer hunting season most years. Last year, the term prevailing winds was thrown out the window as winds came in from so many different directions, given the unusual mild conditions we experienced. Even the magical north wind that usually occurs, did not happen here. Hunting tactics from the norm changed last year, as a result.
