  6. Was able to utilize my nephews being home from.school.. so I taught them tree transplanting and demolition..lolwe.moved the red cedar to a swampy area across the street to make a hedge to get deer to cross where we wanted them using the trees for a hedge/ coverthis awful built shed was on a recent land purchase , it needed to come down but we saved the 2x4 and 2x6 to build a couple of box blinds later this year.
  7. Cva makes a great line up of traditional including kits you can control the fit and finish ,bonus it's great to take a deer with a gun you built. I have to, cva, Lyman, are all good guns. Cabellas also has their own guns I've looked at over the years.including kit guns.
  8. Yes the ocho,is in full running as they need to watch some kind of almost sport.. catch the cheese wheel chase... crazy people breaking bones chasing dam thing down hill...
  9. I have an older x bow takes 22in bolts, getting hard to find them , love it been stocking up whenever I see them.
  10. I would expect it be if just for the name..same thing happend to api treestand and loggy bayou.. even skyline camo ended up being bought..by realtree
  11. Working ,one guy has tested for virus, we keep working hes off next 14 days.. all the towns streets are dead ,still see fishermen and people out 4 wheeling and such, farmers tying grapes, ect.
  12. Been doing my own since my barber retired in 93...
  13. Make me wonder if you ever ate buckwheat pancakes.... ...hmmm
  14. I plant and let go to seed, it serves dual purpose , make great nectar for my bees, and seed is craved by turkey and deer.. it is only crop you can harvest in 90 days. So you could plant in spring for bees and birds, and again in july ( usually plant here around the 4th) and harvest in fall ,or leave stand and get bird and bucks in it till all the seed heads are gone.
  15. I have about 2 acres to do,next few days or week..
  16. Yes , with out a doubt ,though the draft class is reciever heavy , a 60% pass. Catcher proven is above them. Brown and beasly were 42%.. diggs is 18 yards per catch, buffalo was at 12 last year.. one of buffalo's greatest and hot receivers james lofton was 18 ypc. plus now you have to defend against him leaving others open
  17. I think hes done already... They will have him play at least 1 to try him out ,and write it off as him learning the new system, the 2nd year he doenst perform hes done
  18. Diggs is best contested pass reciever.64% And he will draw defense leaving others open
  19. Dont care about brady , really old and not worth the $$ a better bet would be Bridgewater a young qb with great talent. Will be franchise qb for many years..brady prolly.done in 2
  20. Prime breeding in about 2 weeks.. hope for warm dry spring..
  21. Who says you bought it.. perhaps a win on a ticket, a gift, bought used at 3/4 off price.. if you need to hunt to eat would you buy a iffy bow or gun or would you buy something that is reliable used? Stupid and xbow have been around forever , my neighbor has one with a metal spring for bow, and my friend has one he brought back from vietnam... Not legitimate at all.. as much as if you say that you have no business hunting at all... smh
  22. Millennials do not. Buy ahead or save just run to store everyday and buy what they need.. the elderly many do some do not.. personally i am set for quite awhile
  23. Fortunately fishing is going on , lakes here are all melted I would expect more people fishing for food. Personally I would take geese 1st as they are nuisance more often than not, quick to clean and easy to remove.. deer are a lot of work with warmer weather upon us soon.
  24. Have not seen any in north america...
  25. Only mammal a human can run down and kill. Considered survival food in many northern areas killing them there just to kill is frowned upon. Around here I remove everyone I get a chance to. Destroy timber in a hurry...
