  1. 1st get some line on your acid soil plots. Clover, brassica are about all you can put in small plots to withstand pressure. If you have middle buster you need to work up that log landing heavily compressed soil is your enemy and the clay packed on top is prolly what is holding water. They pushed top soil off to make that landing they either buried it or put it into pile someplace. Deep turning of ground may help that area or replacing an inch or so of top soil by scooping up the topsoil soils is also possible. I would try radish clover as a way to. Build and loosen soil as well.. en experiment of sorghum rye mix would also be something I would try.

  7. The only clover to plant is whitetail institute . I tried many other brands and types they are are passed by and deer head right to whitetail institute plot even when planted side by side.. You could of planted it right with ww in fall and it would of had a better start this spring. Hand spreader put half of what it calls for on hand spreader and cover entire area with it.. then add second half and do same..planting to heavy is biggest failure when planting clover..
  8. Wish Bill's would of picked him up..well I guess I'll hope for latavius Murray from Minnesota.. time to kick shady and ivory to the curb...
  9. Do not fert them at all 1st year you can burn them quite easily they have enough food stored from the nut itself.. best case is you cause shallow rooting and they die in 2 years.. biggest mistake people make with nuts and bare root trees.. best let them grow on their own..water as necessary but no fertalizer required...
  10. Pre cutting seems like a ton of extra work.. usually find center lay it out and cut as you go.. I'd be afraid of using wrong piece in wrong place.. especially is area isn't square like it never is

  13. Have to be married for 10 years.. if divorced before they cant touch your pension at all. 60 for age and medical as well. Married couples are taking 7500 or more a month home depending on what was made on railroad. Best 5 years.. though our tier 1 and 2 are about 2 and 3x what social.security would take out.
  14. The thing is if you go early even at a reduced rate and say collect for 3 years before you should. it may take you 15 to make up the difference if you stayed to get a couple hundred more a month...
