One thing I've always wanted to do but have no knowledge of.. I get wood ducks on the creek a lot and mallards.. several flights of ducks on pond in fall , biffle heads, mergansers, and a few teal.. just not in the loop on ducks and legalities involved

Well its happened already phone call ..hey can you take me out the 1st 2 days of turkey season and call me in a bird??? I never seem to be able to say no. The man that thought me to turkey hunt use to tell me all the time if I didnt take out one or two guys every time I went out I'd kill more birds. Fact is I enjoy seeing someone else take a bird the look of excitement on their face when a bird lights up to a call, let alone seeing them shake as a bird struts into range, laughing as they miss an easy opportunity and explaining how it ok it happens.. Looks like my own season will start a little later this spring. Hope to be able to get a friend his first bird and do a little teaching at the same time....

Friends father has 2 m1 garands in garage attic and a case of tracers fired them all off into the sky.. wonder what ever happened to those rifles.. we prolly wrecked them.. young and dumb

I am in zone 3/4 I usually get a few night of -20 here and am high enough to have snow on top of the hill while it rains at the bottom. I cant grown many trees plants that say they will grow in ny, the 2 lakes closest to me are the 1st to freeze every year.. case/ Cuba. A few degrees may be the difference, I've seen shows where ticks attack moose in its southern range because the climate is warmer and the thrive in warmer winters.. I've seen keds on my deer but never a tick.. cold isnt a bad thing it seems.. I'm always in shock hearing about all the ticks members deal with...

I had a charles daily the firing pin kept giving me problems was fixed .lasted a bit and returned.. junk imo. Browning, the fit, mill work is top notch, action always smooth, imo the fit is what matters, length to trigger, trigger pull.. if those are right on so is rest of your shooting.

Phew.. I have not ever had a tick on me in 25 years at my place.. have only seen 1 on neighbors dog at bottom of hill about a mile away. I feel bad for every one that has these around.. glad my place 8s sub zero in winter seems to be reason they are not here

Hope to finish cutting new road into my one field this weekend, been dropping Aspen, only have 200 or so to go.. hopefully I can get another 20 or so down each of next few weekends..

I also use an elk bugle and a dog whistle..but horn is 1st choice

I use a horn on a 1982 honda 50 moped.. answer it everytime!!

I doubt its a club member.prolly a local using the trails. id call the club and voice your concerns. they may ask you what you want them to do about acess off trail to your property. always so idiot who ruins it for the general public.

Birds are heading back north..though a few seem to stay and nest last few years

I cant even see 100 yards in the woods. They tend to pop up in range at 30 yards.. no need for decoy but I learned to use my ears a lot more as visually i'm not going to see them.coming where I hunt.
