    Just find it funny as the main reason I hear people hunt coyote is to protect the deer.. .. this seems backward

    You should place the nuts in a freezer bag or Tupperware with damp peatmoss.. need to be stored like that for 2 to 4 months. Fidge works if your garage is heated Just to get them to sprout, then when planted in pots you will need to protect from squirrels, chipmunks and mice. Not as easy at you would think. Good luck

    New Brewpub opening in tonawanda Feb. Prospect brewing.. making their brews now.. had a few samples. Through family.of owner. Gonna be a good time there with good brews to try

    All in all I dont think the storm was anywhere near they hype they made it to be.. drove up to lancaster and back sat night for a reunion. Party. Yes I got snow but no different than most winter storms we normally get

    Hang some blankets over the windows a d put up tapestry on the walls.. Honestly get a thermo scan done of your heat loss points and you may need new windows and insulation especially if older home ..rock wool insulation tends to sink down the walls and leaves the top uninsulated.

    Ah nature taking its course... want violent read bambi ( the book Disney twisted into a movie) by felix saltan one of the best natural history books... a few tid bits the rabbit get trampled for eating his clover, and squirrel get throat ripped out by ferret... how Disney made movie out of it is beyond me

    Mature deer use different trails and travel differently .I've seen some big ones in Delhi while turkey hunting. Never deer hunted there though have my own place for that. But when they had 2nd fall turkey tag in that area I was there every year

    I would say there is about 12 in on the ground on the level by me.

    Planting few hundred more trees as a visual fence, regrading logging road to creek, 2 new apple orchards to be planted, release an. Old orchard, do some Aspen management for grouse, build 2 new elevated blinds. Till and plant about 10 acres in various plots. Sight in new muzzleloader. Get some 45-70 shells reloaded. Need to step up scouting for guests arriving in nov.
