Finally 6 days and i saw a doe and fawn

Just saw a squirrel fall 25 feet out of a tree and heard the "THUMP". That was entertaining

Another slow one. 30 shots or so. Two different volleys of 4 and 6.

Lots of big gray squirrels, couple of red squirrels, chickadee flock attack, three distant shots, now time for the house, family, visiting and then dinner.......ahhh......Thanksgiving Day 2012.

Saw a dozen deer all feeding in a field near the afternoon spot. Now if they only stick around until I get there...

Finally I am live from the stand. 2 red squirrels running around. 1 practically burrowed into my blind.

Nice big doe down, one minute after sunrise

7 does within feet of my stand at 7:48. Hang out for about 10 minutes walk back the direction they came. Half hour later a flags shows up where I last saw them. I can't pattern them this year. Number two Buck was killed opening day, number one is moving at night. Number two and a spike where chasing two weeks ago tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I missed it.

Quiet day for me. Need to try out a few different spots over next couple days.
