Can I use my muzzleloader tag for bow season?

Question, picked up my tags yesterday. I paid for the bow hunting tag and the muzzle loader tag.

However, the tags are identical. They both say Bow/MZ (either sex).

What stops you from using both of these tags during bow season?

By the way, I'm not trying to bend the rules or cheat the system here, I'm just asking to make sure I stay under the laws and guidelines set by the state.

• You will receive one Bow/Mz Season Either Sex Deer Tag and one Bow/Mz Season Antlerless Deer Tag, both of which may be used in either season.

Yes can use both in bow season or both in ml season in southern zone. You could also use a Doe permit during bow season should you have one. To confuse you more, you can use your regular season buck tag for a Doe in the late ml season. You cannot use bow/ml tags during gin season how ever.

Oh and you have an either sex tag and an antler less tag not two either sex tags. One buck possible for bow and one for gun unless you are in a special zone.

You are right. I misread the tag. One is either sex and one is anterless. Thanks for all the info everyone, I'm squared away now. Can't wait!!

To confuse you more, you can use your regular season buck tag for a Doe in the late ml season.

That's news to me. Is this a NZ specific tag carry-over policy? Wasn't in link provided above.

Know an unfilled regular season (buck) tag can be used during the ML season in the SZ for a buck.

No really you can use it for a doe in the late bow/ml season in the sz. Things are different in the nz.

I usually have DMPs left, so using a reg season buck tag for a doe wasn't even considered (in SZ ML).

3. During late season (with bow or muzzleloading privilege)
