virgil
Crazy high temperatures forecast for this weekend. I’m planning to be at my place hunting. Do high temps effect turkey behavior?
phade
Good question. Would assume they want shady areas. I know these temps usually bring out the mud crickets.

mowin
It definitely effects there patterns. I usually find them in heavily shaded areas after fly down when it's hot out. Hay fields are also getting very tall. Your not as likely to see a strutter in them. They tend to avoid tall grass in the morning as they get soaked walking through, and it's much harder for them to see coyotes or fox looking for a meal.

LET EM GROW
Look for them where the shade is.. Pines mixed hardwoods etc.. or near water swampy areas that will be cooler. Typically not open fields. I will only go the first couple hours and be done, I do not enjoy hunting in hot weather lol.

BizCT
98° Saturday and 93° Sunday. As long as the beer is cold, you can’t ask for a better May weekend in the northeast Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
