The short season doesnt matter. They werent going anywhere this year with Ruff at the helm anyway. Good riddance.

I liked Ruff. But i think if anyone does 1 job for that long they get complacent, lazy and unmotivated. Very good move.

Never seen such an unmotivated group of guys on the ice than this years team.

I don't think a coaching change will do much for them. You can't coach desire to a team who's heart isn't in it.

I agree that their heart isnt in it this year wooly, but I believe that the coach is the heart of the team, and if he isnt motivating his guys, you get what we have seen so far this year. Diddly squat.

Yep- we'll see if the shake-up is enough to kick start them in the upcoming game against TO.

Heck- any one of us could be behind the bench for this one and expect them to be fueled by the rivalry alone....who knows.

Actually i went to the games against Boston and Pittsburgh this past weekend, and i wore my angry Goat jersey to both games.

i dont follow pro hockey that much but my friends and i have sure had some good games this yr!!! last eve we had a big game... i forget the final score but by the end of the game we all were DEAD tired and SOAKED w sweat... it was TONS of fun!!!

Did you really think a new temporary coach would fix anything in 1 day? Yes, I know you probably just copied and pasted that, but whoever wrote it is being completely unrealistic.

I really think is a player/ head office problem,just a mechanic that needs round bolts cant fix the car if you give him square ones... plus its a shortend season, no conditioning / practice except a week before, sure some players worked out but i guarentee they didn't work as hard as they woud with trainers hounding them... watch this bite us in the ass.....

This fall I'm sending a similar letter to Marv Levy from the Bills to see if he bites!

At this point I'm just glad it's a shortened season. How depressing it is to watch these guys every other night!

The Sabres aren't a good team . They really need to shake things up . Lindy hasn't done much with the team in a few years . The Sabres needed a change .
