I hope they bull doze the existing store and build new, no sense in doing a half ass job. I can't even begin to imagine the traffic NIGHTMARE they will have on Walden!

Excuse me for being skeptical, but Bass Pro was coming to Buffalo, until the planning board set so high  standards, that eventually  give up the idea. We have been dealt to many broken promises in the past to be a high believer in the future.

Yeh, the road can't handle the traffic now at certain times of day. Maybe the state will throw us an empty bone for that, LOL.

Cabelas is way better than Bass Pro. If Buffalo dont want them, they can come to Syracuse!

I like Cabelas, been using them for 30 years but I don't want one in NY. I would rather shop online and have it shipped for free or close to it and not have to pay tax.

Nice!!! I was shocked when I first moved up here that there wasn't a bass pro or cabelas anywhere in WNY... Gander and dicks can suck it... Frankly I think it would put this gander mountain in tonawanda out a business ! And it's only gonna be 10 min away , love it...

The BassPro in Harrisburgh PA is awesome.... it beats Auburn store hands down.

 

Been to Cabelas is PA and CT.... and shop online monthly.   I agree Cabelas is best.

Bass Pro has nothing on Cabelas.

 

I've been to several of each, and hands down I like Bass Pro less and less. Especially Auburn's store.

 

Cabelas isn't the savior, but it's about as good as it gets for a big box store/destination store.

Dang...read that Cabelas was looking to put a store in Batavia area for two years with no luck, so they opted for Buffalo...lame, lol!

I agree the auburn bass pro is a waste I drove out there in April for the first time I bought more stuff at the dicks across the street. My buddy did buy a tracker boat a few weeks after looking at them
