How about the story and are you mounting it? I think it's real cool when you see them in the woods and we would all benefit from your experience.

Not many of us have taken bear and with their numbers up we need all the help we can get.

I forgot to add,this bear was shot by my Son's friend...  He shot it at about 30yards, they tracked it for a couple of hundred yards, came to a place where it bedded down. Backed out,came back at 4am. tracked another 200yrds. found him stone cold dead.... took him just above the heart,taking out all the main arteries... good blood all the way.....
