3pm too early?

Im gonna head out to a spot about 15 minutes from my house. Think its too early? Saw deer move last evening around 6 but wondering if i missed anything earlier in the afternoon...would you?

Never a such thing as "Too Early" when going in for an afternoon hunt if you ask me. Good Luck!!!

If you have time.... DO IT!!! even tho you prob wont see anything at least your in the stand... and if something comes by you can shoot it i cant shoot anything if your not out there

Yep - I saw deer from 1pm until dark on the 1st.  Area is loaded, but you never know.  What else are you going to do anyways.

Been having alot of sightings in this area in the evening. Nobody has had a chance to hunt it in the morning. But it is also a great 10-2pm area! Ill give it a whirl! Refill my scent killer and away i go!

to tell you the truth first week im usally out there all day hoping maybe hunters coming and going get deer moving im sure lots of you folks have had more success then me hunting tho considering i only have a doe under my belt lol but ive been hunting since i was 16 im now 23

I always go in around 3-330.  Id rather sit an extra hour and possibly get one up on its feet early than bump them while walking in.

I went out at 3 Sunday and had 4 does and a 3pt in the field by 3:30! I prefer to hunt the mornings during this heat though.

Oh im having a blast actually. Seen more deer in this area than i have in alot of years. The other guys who hunt with me are saying the same thing. And now we have all had a run in with the big momma smart doe. She has busted us all!

Thats what i was hoping for today. I got in around 315. Friend got there around 430 and my dad around 5. Was hoping they might kick one towards me. But the only one my dad booted ran back towards where we park.
