I know for a fact this one came from just outside mount morris last year. Grossed a little over 150 something? Buddy of mine shot it. 4 of us spent close to 6 hours tracking him. A lot of luck and a little skill involved after jumping him out of his bed at 1st .went back at midnight ,tracked for another 1 hour or so, ended up jumping him again..left, and came back in am: and found him hrs later..

Was not the greatest of shots.. the buck was quartering heavily toward him and the arrow birdied itself in the brisket/ backbone area . Not very good penetration. The arrow barely punctured the lung cavity. This put the smallest of holes in his"bellows" he could still breath but not very well.there was a fare amount of blood in spots with the occasional foamy spot...like I said a lot of perseverance and luck was involved in recovering.
