wooffer
Just curious as I am not familiar with bow hunting rules and asking to accuse of any wrongdoing. Are you allowed to take 2 deer with bow?

jjb4900
I strongly suggest everyone proofread all their posts before hitting the submit button.............as you can see, any type of error will result in accusations of wrongdoing and quickly sidetrack the thread from what it was initially intended for......

Long Island vs Sharon Springs isn't even close to a typo. it's 200+ miles away and not even close on the keyboard.
wooffer
How does that work? There is only one bow tag on my license. How do I transport the 2nd deer without a tag?
wooly
Great looking buck man, congrats! He looks wide.... got any more flattering pics of the rack from a different angle?

How do I transport the 2nd deer without a tag? you can use your regular season tag during archery as well as your archery and muzzleloader tag if you bought that privilege in addition to multiple dmp tags if you have them..........LI is pretty liberal as to what you can use your tags for. Five Seasons
you need to take some better pics dude. That looks like a nice buck, get some good pics of him. A little confused about an arrow head shot... but congrats because they're both hanging. Edited December 22, 2013 by Belo

What I do know is that shooting a nice buck and then admitting to a head shot immediately on a second deer like that lends itself to questions for some... especially in conjunction with all the "typos". crappyice
Awesome for you! Congrats on a GREAT DAY! I hunted all day today and yesterday pm without seeing squat (accept for a young bobcat-maybe mountain lion...JK)
skully
Great deer guy and yea you could shoot more than 1 deer with bow on long island or westchester. I shot 2 bucks and a doe the other day in westchester county and it was perfectly legal........

greybeard
I'd really like to see a head shot of that buck, maybe it'll get me head back into deer hunting since I do hunt that way. (I won't ask for your spot.. I swear)

sampotter
Geez- I was more concerned about the headshot on the doe. Glad it worked out. P.S. I thought we had a "My Slammer" thread going. I'm more than a bit disappointed.

shawnhu
Good job on dropping both your targets, and nice work on the headshot. A lot of haters here when it comes to headshot deer.
