The shot heard throughout NY ....they had a lot of gun clubs in NY participating on vid ..and a couple of people shooting cannons but its all over the news to 30 different states showed support for us in NY today

Belo there were loads of shots in the city. Just like every other night so no one could tell the difference. The libs in NYC are deaf to the sound now and accept it as part of living the NYC dream.

I don't disagree with that on many other political issues, but with respect to gun ownership they have little to nothing vested in this law as it's very difficult to carry and own in the city before the act was passed. So what do their reps have to lose?

Absolutely nothing, and everything to gain.  The ultra-liberals that run this state, and those who vote them in, couldn't care less about our 2nd amendment rights so they just go along with flushing them to get their socialistic policies rammed down our throats. That said, I don't think we need ultra-conservatives in power either, just people who have some freekin' common sense and actually CARE for a change, about doing what's right for the people they represent (theoretically).  The only thing they represent is their wallets and getting re-elected. 

 

You'll have to forgive me, I've got a nasty cold and I'm not firing on all thrusters so coherency may not be top on the list. Maybe I should just "lurk" until this sob passes.

So far, the coverage on TV that I have seen has been super-positive, and maybe even with a supportive tone to it. I was surprised.
