Reloading supplies

I have been asking the question to the point where I have simply given up. Can anyone point out some language in the law that prohibits mail order ammo components. I can't find it. I believe that the Safe Act doesn't apply to ammo components. I hate to get too loud about this for fear that they will amend the law.

There is nothing in the law prohibiting components.  if a company chooses not to sell them to you, that is their policy.  I ordered bullets form gamaliel last week with no problems.  They showed up yesterday.  This will be in the hit list in the future I am sure to eliminate this also.

I have to find it but I asked Midway and they said they are still shipping components into NY STATE.

But last time I checked their website, everything seemed to be out of stock and not available. Not just for NYS, but seemingly unavailable to anyone.

I just ordered some bullets from Midway yesterday.

I priced them at Graf's, Natchez and Midway and surprisingly Midway was the cheapest of the three, AND they had the bullets I wanted in stock.

According to the email they sent me, the bullets are on thier way to me now.

Reloading is the answer. In the past year I have seen a large number of new members joining the reloading forums that I frequent.   It seems many shooters have begun reloading and now it's creating a powder shortage.  I would love to find some Unique.  I typically order from Cabela's as their hazmat fee is $20 rather than the $30 that most charge.  What can also save money is to do a group order with your reloading buddies to split the shipping and hazmat costs.  This is less likely now, due to the lack of powder.

I have always bought powder locally to avoid the hazmat fee.

Fortunately, I have an ample supply of powder and primers,  but next time I get down to Beikirch's (Knoxville, PA)  I'll  pick some up IF they have it, just in case.

Received my bullets from Midway yesterday..No problemo...

What'd you order?

I got an email from Mr. Potterfield last week saying they had LOWERED their shipping prices.  Were you pleasantly surprised with the shipping charges??
