I don't see anyone on here talking about this. There is an election for governor of NY coming up this year. This guy is against the Safe act and says he will repeal it.  He is for fracking and is a pro business guy.

 

I will be voting for him I had enough of andy boy.

A politician is a politician, and I try to never forget that. But I've had it with the current state of NY. Highest cost in everything, ranked the lowest in many important categories.

This is the Republican nominee, and he's got my vote.

 

Heck, I've never put a bumper sticker of any kind on a painted surface of any vehicle I've owned, but I've got an Astorino in 2014 sticker on my daily ride now.

You can't turn on the TV without seeing Cuomo's ugly face. Meanwhile his opposition is in "stealth" mode. This is shaping up to be a one-sided blow-out. There's nothing evil, sinister, or conspiratorial about that. It's just a case of one guy has more money than God, and an incumbent's natural edge. Astorino simply has no support, cash or name recognition. Time is running out.

At this stage of the game we shouldn't have to look too hard. I see the little King's pathetic, lying face all over. I see or hear an ad for Astorino only once in a while. Maybe its a regional thing, as far as face time, but more limey it a money thing.

It is a money thing I agree. I guess if we want the king gone a little donation would help. The suggestion is 10 dollars for every gun you own. I donated 500. How much is it worth to each of you. BTW I do not own 50 guns. I added some for those who will not donate. Put your money where your mouths are so to speak

Sometimes its just simple enough to vote for someone NOT in office .... change is good !  Just an opinion .

Trying to help Mr. Astorino by getting some new Republic voters registered. In talking to people, it amazes me how many are not registered to vote. They have strong views against Cuomo, but don't take a few minutes of their lives to cast a ballot against him.

 

My whole family is proudly voting for Rob Astorino, a clear choice for New York Governor!

I just googled it, and it's really not that riveting of a story.........I sure hope he's got more than just that.

If we sent him some money, he may be able to.  If you sit on your wallet. don't complain he cant get his message out, name recognition etc.  Either we are behind him or not

I saw the other thread about the list of handgun owners in NY that was published for all to see............I can only hope his campaign team put that information to good use, and not sure if it's possible, but he may also want contact The NRA and get a list of all members in NYS, but I would guess that has been done as well.

Exactly where and what is NYS ranked lowest and highest? Or is it just a gut feeling? I believe in facts, stats and quantifiable information. I am tired of people beating up on New York. While we will always have our problems NY is a great state and deserves respect, regardless of who the Gov is. Exactly what categories are the important ones?
