Apples

I took a walk along hedgerow leading to the back of my sisters property and the few apple trees along there are doing good so far. Last year there was hardly any on the trees. Nice snacks for the deer to munch on.

and here in northern Oneida County. Not loaded, but most trees have a fair crop.

The apple trees in norther Cayuga County are really loaded.  Much better than last year.

Zero apples last year, have a few this year, hopefully things are on the upswing down the road.

Nice to see some apple posts.  Ours wild apple trees are doing really well, considering less than one inch rainfall in M ay and June.

No Apples here. Late freeze. Tree's were in full blossom when It hit . Killed a bunch of shrubs at my house and took out sister in-law  peach trees and plums.

When I use to sell on the North Tonawanda market back in the 70's, a fella use to bring Quince cider, very tart tasting.

Lots of apples on some trees. Deer have the lower branches cleaned off.  In my area, most apples drop early.

We have a great bounty again. Just getting tougher to reach.

Apples are out of control this year. I had an old tree break off a huge brach that was loaded with them. I'll take a picture when I'm out mowing trails later.
