Doc
Well now that deer hunting is finished (for most of us) what are you all going to do to fill your days? Predator hunting?, Small game hunting?, ice fishing?, (if you can find good ice), snowmobiling?, skiing?, TV?, Family and home stuff?, trapping?, shovel snow?, Winter camping?, or something else? wolc123
I’ve got a bunch of unsplit rounds in my splitter shed that I’d like to get split up and moved into my woodshed. Also maybe drag up a few firewood logs, and some rabbit and squirrel hunting.
First-light
I'm doing some remolding in the house. Once we get past this cold snap I'll probably cut some dead ash and split it.
Tughill Tamer
For me it started with catching up on some rest. I often go on very little sleep during hunting season getting out as much as I can. Then I like to past this time of year getting out hiking and scouting new areas for potential stands for next year.Sent from my moto g power (2022) using Tapatalk
GreeneHunter
Ice Fishing - when the Ice gets here ! Maybe when it warms up take down and cut up some dead trees on the property . Perhaps start a food plot ! Thinking of putting a used but not falling apart camper on the property just to have coffee in when the weather sucks !
Daveboone
We had a very busy last year, selling our old house and moving in/getting established in our new (to us) home. Time is opening up now, so I am working on completing a flintlock rifle I have been building, catching up on some reloading needs, similar projects. I have to make time to get up to our camp buried in the Tug Hill to check on things...I have to hike in, so it will be at least an overnight. I want to heat the place up well to melt the snow off the roof.

A snowy winter this year for sure.
fasteddie
If I can transition from my lazy mood , I would like to do some reloading .

I like the thought of screwing over that old Hochul and her merry band of anti-gun creeps. I might do some of that myself. I have a lifetime supply of components, so I might as well start building bullets and converting all that stuff into ammo.
airedale
So long as the snow is not too deep I will continue to hunt small game, we got buried around here and I would need to use snowshoes to get around in the woods, something at this stage of the game I am not too enthused about. I will do a lot of tinkering on firearms this time of the year and I will also build handloads. Al
Four Seasons
Will keep working towards keeping the herds and the land in step with each other. So far about 100 or so hanging around enjoying the winter. About half way thru winter and the herd is looking healthy. Love seeing great numbers staying healthy. fasteddie
When and if the weather warms up , I would like to get out and do some Geocaching. That would pry me out of my lazy boy chair. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk
landtracdeerhunter
Sounds great everyone, except the 3 feet of snow part. Adds to the ground water supply though. This cold weather and snow will help maple syrup producers this year.
