frustration with dec

i called the dec to report a harvest [deer] wow what a pain went online no good anyone else having a problem reporting?

they kept asking the town and i kept telling them it transfered me to  the office which was closed icalled @ 5 pm ill try tomarrow earlier may be illget a human instead of a computer

The internet option isn't very easy and you must create a new account.

i tried the online thing could not do it had to do the phone thing the system would nor recognise the town i had to repeat it at least 50 times

That system does stink to high heaven! The funniest part about it is they give you the confirmation number or whatever they call it it like 150mph!

P.s. the actual tags suck. The ink fades fast and you can't write on them clearly.

Reading the stupid things in fading light is nuts.........................they can stick that camo stuff!

Real pain ,It wouldn't take my B-day or my Doc#. I tried the phone & online. Just another gov't. system that su$ks!

Damned mailman must have pilfered it from the package.  I'll be making a call in the morning...................then I'll go to Walmart for a Sharpie.

I have done two this year no issues at all. Maybe 3 minutes each.

I still prefer the drop in the mail system, 1 deer report was fine,2nd pain in the $$ got trasf er ed to office.

I did it online with no problem. If you don't have your tag # - mine was in the barn - you can put in your license #.

my uncle had problems with it.  tried phone first, put info in then nothing.... tried on line and it said that the tag number did not exist.... he then called a third party number and it said that it went through.  said it was over an hour process
