What a great day!

Perfect weather to get things done...I cleaned the dog kennel run and laid down a fresh straw for the boys...Will do inside tomorrow ...man are they happy.

MR B. worked on the tractor greasing and cleaning...I worked in the garden...I don't mind DEC. days like this at all.

A perfect day for firewood too. No snow and no bugs. The mud got a little ornery at the end, but a great day indeed.

She sure was a beauty. I wasn't as productive as you folks but got plenty done too.

Nice day here in Eastern NY also. Went small game hunting with my cousins. I haven't done that in probably 10 years.

 Kicked out a pheasant and some grouse. Got a shot at a grouse.

Went out and did some target shooting with my brother in-law his cousin and two of his buddies i aren't most of the time shooting the muzzle loader while they shot the 22s shot guns and rifle great weather today.

Ha-ha-ha... Isn't that the normal story when we go grouse hunting ..... got a shot at a grouse.....lol. Tough little targets. Great fun anyway ...... when you have some around to shoot at.

Got the whole Honey do list done yesterday...Gonna do church and then football all day.Raining pretty good outside right now so can"t do much........

It sure was nice weather to get things done outside and around the yard. I also did some post season scouting and worked on a new tree stand set up.

Well, in my area, we have almost the whole next week of snow-free weather (depending on where you live). Even with the colder temps, there sure is a lot of thigs that can still be done with bare ground.

 

On the other hand, I don't really like yote hunting without a snow background to assist spotting incoming critters. Also, I have some brush pile burning that I would like to do. I never do that without snow.

It's dang cold now!...and we have a light snow coming down.......yet partial blue sky's...Mr B's Birthday is today.... so I'm in baking up a carrot cake and his favorite peanutbutter and butterscotch oat meal cookies....I rarely bake so he requested this as a gift...lol
