Nomad
Really hate to follow Sam ...... Went to a friends land in Macedon . I don't know the land well , only hop in one of his stands a couple times a year. Walked it to learn the land better and shoot my new Glock. Found the shed 50 minutes in to the walk and the small head a few minutes after. Number 7 shed for me in maybe 12 to 15 hours of walking around blindly. I just can't grid search to boring for me I just hike trails and such looking for good spots to hang stands .
22Plinker
Decided to go out with the kid for some red squirrel hunting and came across this nice shed. It is very recent because I was in the same spot less than 48 hours before and it wasn't there. We looked for the match but didn't find it. Before anyone mentions it, yes I know I don't have to wear the blaze orange. I do it as a courtesy to the other people that are out there training their dogs.
kpkot
I can't be the only guy to pick up some bone while turkey hunting... also found a real old chewed up 4 point side.
Lawdwaz
Hey, I almost forgot......I picked up a shed today, the post above reminded me! I didn't scrutinize it closely, I just grabbed it and tossed it in the back of the vest. IIRC it is a half a four point and it wasn't from this past year. Tomorrow night I'll try and remember to grab it and snap a quickie.

sampotter
I covered 27 miles on foot and picked up a couple of moose sheds last weekend in the Adirondacks. One was a dinky forkhorn (Fleur found) and the other was so badly chewed by porcupines that I thought it was tree bark at first. The chewed one: All that was left. The sad thing was I think it was only a year or two old and may have been a decent paddle. Some of the pieces were wider than my hand.
sampotter
One last shed for 2016... I'm calling it a season. I found this thick whitetail shed in the Adirondacks while looking for moose sheds. Scores 60" despite only having a 20" main beam and a 2.5" browtine... (5/13/16, #59)
