Speaking of TV Shows

Does anybody watch any of the paranormal shows on the channel Destination America? I think they are called The Haunting and Paranormal Survivor. I have to say if any of those stories are true, it makes you rethink the world around you. I would be locked up with a straight jacket if I went through what some of those people on those shows have supposedly gone through. Really creepy...and not what you want to be thinking about while walking to your stand in the dark...

I don't pay much attention to them, but The Mermaid likes to watch them.

When she has them on I usually go re-organize my sock drawer or something.

One thing I did watch that was genuinely creepy was the movie " Blair Witch Project"...

Ah The Blair Witch Program. When that movie came out I had some friends camping out in the woods nearby. Another friend and I snuck into their camp late. Knowing they'd be half cocked and off for a night hike. Buddy and I left little piles of stones like from the movie all a around their tents. We've still never fessed up or asked them about it.

I watched a few of those Ghost hunters shows hoping to see a real ghost, to me they are not too far off  the Mountain Monsters shows except they try to make their shows a bit more believable.

 

What I never could understand is why all these investigations have to be held in the middle of the night when it is dark and one can not see crap. I think if I were ever to be a ghost I still would be up and around during the day and sleeping at night pretty much the same as when alive LOL!

I've watched a few minutes of similar programs.  The hosts would walk around in the dark and say random stuff like "I just saw something"...."do you feel that?  I just felt a chill".  I'm watching this and I'm like umm....no, I didn't see anything and I didn't feel anything so for all I know, these host are just bull-crapping the heck out of us.

I like watching finding Big Foot cracks me up, I also like Mountain Monsters they make so much noises I can’t see how they would ever get anything.

I wasn't talking about the ghost hunter shows. I was talking about the shows where the family basically tells their story like a documentary (just sitting in a chair recounting the story) while actors do a reenactment of the story. I will record ghost hunters sometimes and fastforward  to the end to see their evidence and if they caught anything. I can't watch an hour of them walking around in the dark saying, did you hear that? What was that?

I like the finding bigfoot shows they make me laugh walking around the woods at night making noises and stuff I think if they ever fund one it would have to be death blind and lost!

After reading this post yesterday I found myself watching "Fact or Faked" last night.

Kinda like Myth Busters trying to recreate, then prove or debunk paranormal videos sent in from around the world or posted online.

They come to some interesting conclusions and often overlooked possibilities.

I have tried watching Mountain Monsters a few times. I have to admit that crew cracks me up. Especially the episode where the leader yanked out his own tooth with a pair of pliers, even it if was fake it was funny. I love how the "traps" never work. You can't catch what isn't there. LOL
