Always be careful trimming shoting lanes

Holding onto a small tree cut through a branch and my finger. 8 stiches! And to make it worse it's my trigger finger. Good thing I've been shooting the bow alot I can handle a break for a couple weeks. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE!

Man that is nasty looking.  Thanks for the timely warning as that is about the only job left for me to do this year other than on the range, sighting in and practicing with my weapons.  Was it a chain saw that did the damage?

Nope a Gerber hand saw, went through the branch damn fast and my finger. Just happy no tendints got hit.

Ouch, finger injuries suck!  Amazing how much you'll miss using that one finger at 100%.

OUCH...!...  Glad there was no tendon damage.

I have been known to use a 20 gauge with #9 shot to trim branches just a little out of reach.

Works pretty good and you won't  get cut ....
