EastIslander
Just went for my last shed hike today, found the 5 point with the G2 kicker second row from top on the right side, not huge but a good un-chewed browny. The others are my years totals in fresh sheds except for the 2 on the bottom right, their last years but nice and un-chewed so I kept them. Probably found as many chewed or older sheds plus 3 dead heads that I gave to friends who use them for crafts. 7 matched sets, the one I'm holding is my best to date 148" by my measurements. Also got 2 other 4 point sides in the pic which are 70" range. 32 brown sheds altogether, my best year in a long time despite the most competition I've ever scene. All found on public land with about 120 miles logged, just got lucky and hit all my areas at the right time, most of these sheds still had fresh blood on the bases. God Bless and good luck with the rest of everyone's season.

EastIslander
About half those sheds came from my family's farm and surrounding area in Saratoga county, the rest I picked up on the eastern ends of the 2 forks.
ManicOutdoorsman92
Took a walk from my house to the park and school where I have been seeing 20-30 around 710pm each night since we got all that snow. Was hoping for easy shed find, but no luck.1.7 Miles covered. Followed tracks and poop into woods and never seen so much deer crap in my life. Not many buck rubs but there has to be some Giants in here. It's between Schools and park so no hunting.Dead skunk? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I looked an area like that over earlier, there were some monster rubs back there in years past, dec " unique area", although it gets lots of traffic from locals walking the dogs, and what not, same deal though. They come to the soccer and baseball fields for feedSent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk

chas0218
For the life of me I can't find a single one. I look close far even take my dog that usually has no problem finding them and she can't find any either. I have been putting in quite a bit of time walking around and haven't got anything to show for it.
LET EM GROW
This year is a little tougher, being mild and not a ton of snow. Their feeding more places than a normal hard winter, IMO. Last year I think was the same way, we found the majority of ours last year in the oak woods and golden rod. Not in our plots or destination food sourcesSent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Nomad
Tough year for me too, today was my third time out , and zippo , three hours of walking . Gotta say nothing on my cameras , think our deer went south with Moog's . Farmer said he finds all his in his no till fields, I walk mostly hedgerows and trails though . Heres today finds.....

Steve D
Kutos to all the shed hunters that have found some horns but I gotta tell ya....it really saddens me to see all the nice racks being found with the bodies still attached or near by. Seem like a lot are not following up with the tracking job and some nice bucks (and does) are dying needlessly.
WNY Bowhunter
Pulled out the shed pile yesterday afternoon to get an updated pic. This is my 10th year of shed hunting. I only wish I knew how many miles of walking was represented here!
Nomad
I agree Steve, although mine was an easy find near a road so I'm hoping road kill. Plus that buck would not be shot by any of our hunters , but yes a lot of nice "deads" found on this thread .
