growalot
I let her come with me when I went out to get some work done...she knows she needs to stay in sight of me and we leave all her tags..even past years on her hunter orange collar so we can her her and other animals can too...Well I glanced up and there she was just sitting in the gully stream not moving...then I thought she might me hunting something so I gave her the return call she turned my way so I continued working...Next thing I know she rams the back of my knees dropping me ...Startled I started to yell when I saw her face...her head was low and she was pawing her face and foaming...I thought for a second she'd gotten into a ground bee nest..I know there are a few in that area, I got nailed by one a couple of years ago. She allowed me to open her mouth for my next thought was choking and I need to clear her air way and do the Heimlich..been there before..She had a thick hard wood stick stuck in the roof of her mouth!...Phewww!! I removed it and then proceeded to get a happy mauling from a very tired wet and muddy dog...she'd been rolling around in that stream and mud trying to release it on her own...Dogs....... they are like having children....Poor old gal....

fasteddie
Luckily you didn't have to give the dog mouth to mouth . Nothing worse than dog breath .... well , almost nothing !
growalot
Had to do that with a pup once ...got it breathing ...but as far as breath..Nothing worse than hers...her breath has ALWAYS smelled like something crawled half way down her throat and died 2 wks ago...Nothing and I mean nothing has worked Vet says that some dogs just have bad breath period...Ohh and silent farts...
