Big Indian
My son, Alex a freshman at SUNY Delhi, has been going out every morning after class, and this past weekend and opening day with me, bad weather had them fairly quiet the times we were tother ( only heard1 gobble in 3 days). This morning he finally got the opportunity to shoot a nice bird 19 lbs 9" beard and almost 3/4" spurs. I am proud of his dedication to getting out in the woods and also how well he's doing in school. I am a bit jealous I was unable to be there and share the hunt, but someone has to pay for tuition. The day gets better, upon leaving the woods he sees a man drowning in the creek, and he jumps in and pulls the unconscious gentleman out as the police are arriving. The man was transported to the hospital and Alex said he should be ok. Proud of you son, you're my hero! !
