Question about mounts at home.

Do you guys or how often to you take a glance at the mounts ,beards,racks etc. that you have on display ? It seems like every day I take a glance at the couple of euro mounts in my living or even the one in my garage . Our house has other stuff throughout for decoration and what not , I never pay it any attention.

Wife has knick knacks all over the place.  Can't tell ya what any of em are. If My deer mounts and racks get dust on em, or are crooked, I notice.

I like to check them out at least 1 Sunday a month and hit them with the vacuume they do collect a bit of dust

I just hung two Euro mounts in the living room 2-3 weeks ago and I look at them daily or every other day .

I look at them so much, I HONESTLY refer to them as the TV...

I've got two brown trout and two northern pike on the wall. I can tell you where and when I got them and go on for 30 minutes for each of them for the story.  The rest of the décor.....not so much.  To me they are works of art.

Ok- I'm gonna be the oddball here.

I've only had one deer mounted in close to 30 years. Maybe 5 or 6 years ago I sold him on Craigslist to a guy who wanted to hang him in his pool house.

I got tired of that damn thing staring at me with that same hypnotized look every day, morning, noon, and night! Deer hunting... , and deer in general, had consumed my life, and at that point I decided I needed more variety to keep things interesting not only in my wall décor, but even in daily life interests in general.

Aside from the uniqueness of the rack, they all look the same to me. Stuffed stuff just does nothing for me anymore!

Haha- it is in a way almost like marriage! Beautiful at first, but as time goes by, the same ol' meat and potato's every day!

Perhaps I'm just afraid of commitment, hence the two ex wives,lol

I'd have to say looking at the same one every day is better than looking at a new one every time you turn around but I am a creature of habit and not a big fan of drastic changes.

I'm a creature of habit too.... that's why I get rid of them all,lol
