Finally got a bear on cam

This is in Chautauqua county, give me your guesses on size I have two of these cheap Stealth cams, this one was out there since mid November and took pics all winter and spring and still has battery life!

You have killed a few - how big do you think he is.  If those 2 bigger trees in the background are as big as I am imagining (10-12" diameter) , I would think 200 plus.

You may be right.  He doesn't look small to me.  Still trying to use the 55 gallon comparison the guide suggested.  And his body alone looks longer I think which is a big black bear.

Good bear Tacks!  My guess would be high 200s now. Come mid fall, mid 300s.

Landowner put in a big bridge over a ditch made from two telephone poles and heavy planks last year, a bear tore it apart and tossed it all over the place lol. Might have been this dude

Looks very similar in size to a sow i shot  few years back and if memory serves me correct she went 230lbs.
