Edible ?

I drive this road 4 days a week and all of a sudden I noticed this growth on a locust tree, west facing growth if that helps.   What is it and would YOU eat it?!?!

You're confusing Laetiporus sulphureus(chicken of the woods) with Grifola Frondosa( Hen of the woods).

Both equally delicious, but hens usually fruit later in the season(Sept./Oct.)

COTW fruits from spring to fall.

Tough to tell from the pics. Almost looks like yellowfoot chanterelles and also resembles a kind of club fungi.
