Seeing any praying mantis this year ?

Just rescued this one from Kohl’s parking lot. Also saw a baby one in end of July.  I used my finger to get him to head bob and box for a bit before he crawled up my arm.  Then relocated him to a garden / bush area.  Used to catch them as a kid and feed  them grasshoppers.  Pretty fun to watch

Seen a few in the backyard this summer. It grosses the Mrs. out when I hold them on my hand. Very cool little critters.

Last Friday morning there was one hanging on my apartment door screen. It was in the same spot when I came home a few hours later!

I've seen more this summer than I ever have. I usually see a few over the course of summer.
Just a couple weeks ago I was trimming the shrubs out in front of my place of work and flushed 8- 10 out of the shrubs.
Only 1 met the trimmer blades.

I've only seen one so far. It was the other day, and my first thought was to find a grasshopper to feed it.   Great memories.

I seen one at work last week, didn't see it at first and almost stepped on it. That's the first one I've seen in prably 5 yrs.
