im sure a few on here use tower stands.  How do you anchor them?  I have seen three blown over in fields in the last couple of weeks.  That would scare the crap outa me.

i dont plan on using any as they just dont fit how and where i hunt.  But i have seen so many recently blown over onto their sides was just curious and cant believe people dont anchor them.

Mine are so heavy I can’t see them blowing over.  Already withstood 70mph winds with no damage.   One has L brackets screwed to feet with rebar driven in.  But the angled out feet make them very secure.  Using escalator brackets is key.  I didn’t secure the second and it did fine in the same storm.

Get long stakes and stake them in at an angle. Drive the steaks towards the enter of the stand. This will make it so that the steaks will not just slide out. The steeper the angle of the steaks and the deeper they go in the better. You can also use cork skews stakes.

You can also drive poles in the ground and strap it down as well.
