Of the hundreds of deer I've seen alive and dead in our area, I haven't seen any with warts. 

If I killed one with them, as long as they didn't go deeper than the hide, I'd eat the meat.

Makes goiter buck look appetizing  although he had  warts on his face too.  Not sure his mom really loved him anymore

The third deer I ever shot had big worts around her eyes. Didn't even occur me not to eat but I did and didn't have any issues (yet)

In close to 40 yrs of hunting ive only shot one deer with this condition...now i know what it was...thanks for sharing

I wouldnt pass a deer that had them, they come off with the hide and do not affect the meat.

I see them on camera like that almost every season but never during hunting season

I have several deer with fibromas on them. It wont affect the meat at all.

It's just in the skin, take it off and looks and tastes same as any other carcass
