Quite as expected. This is becoming one of my favorite spots to sit. I’ve never seen anyone but bird hunters back here. Plenty of deer signs. Might put up a cheapie treestand.

It’s getting warm so I’m going to head out and get ready for the evening hunt. Most likely in the same area. It’s sure felt good to be out in the woods again.

my brother saw two does this morning so he’s all pumped up heading back to his stand as for me I’m sitting in the ac debating if I should go in for the last two hours of daylight.

Regarding the heat, CT/NJ and southern/western hunters are killing whitetails everyday.

Nothing but the bugs moving this afternoon. My brother didn’t see anything ether. It was a little uncomfortable but not as bad as I thought.

Getting ready for day two. 53 degrees no wind there calling for severe thunderstorms this afternoon so hopefully they’ll be moving around this morning.

A little warmer then yesterday. Spooked a coyote on the way in. I was surprised how close we got to each other before we seen each other.

Just sitting out here knowing I have 88 days until I have to go back to work is reward enough seeing all the deer I’ve seen so far is just a bonus.

Quite this morning except for a giant woodpecker. Snuck around a little and found this open area would be great for a food plot. I’m going to go to town hall and find out who actually owns this property the town or county and how big it is. It’s nice over here.

Last min decision to drive up to buddy’s camp late last night. Out this afternoon overlooking a swamp bottom pinch point. Doing it Biz style from the ground too! Lots of tracks in the mud on my way in and deer moving just before dark on the cams everyday.
