What an awesome day at the fair yesterday!  My GF and I arrived there at about 10:30 AM and entered through the casino then turned in the coupon from the parking pass in exchange for credits in the casino.  So we started playing the slots... 15 minutes later My machine is going berzerk and I am smiling ear to ear!  The food was great, the beer was cold, the music was fantastic and the company was outstanding!  The Roosevelt Lucky buck was there to see also.  Topped off the evening with a Ferris wheel ride!

Nice. Never forget that I won a putting contest at that fair in the late 80's, maybe summer of 1988 or 1989. It's on video somewhere. Then i never touched a golf club again for 20+ years

Erie County fair always a great time. Wear comfortable footwear, LOL. Grand kids love the I Got It games.

Steuben County Fair starts up this week. Wife and I try to stop by every year at least for a beer and some fair food and to check out a few exhibits.

They have the pig races that you can bet on, but I don't think the payout compares to your winnings!!

Congrats on the win !Wife and daughter want to go tomorrow. Have free parking, tickets and a few $5 food vouchers   I despise the fair, the carnies, overpriced crappy food , the rides, most of the riff raff etc.   The DEC building  is the only thing I like about it  But even then the fish in tanks colors are all washed out

They had the track set up but no pigs were out!

Not all are created equal that’s for sure. We enjoy the Dutchess county fair (4H milkshakes are killer, dutchess rod and gun put out a cool “zoo”, old farm equipment exhibit are fun, k9 demonstration, dock dogs). Rides are a no-no death trap. Everyone gets $10 for games.
Columbia county fair was less than enjoyable.

Watched Family Feud the other night . “ name an animal you’ll see at the County Fair? “ First Guy , Elephant! Lol , when his brother came out for his half , “ elephant  !” Only got two points....

I don’t know , but I’ll be at the Genny Brew House at 3 , with the fellas .

We do,hit the state fair once a year, no week ends or nights though ,Mrs grew up on a dairy farm, owned a horse ,so we watch the horse show stuff, eat some food drink a couple beers and watch some washed up band or singer .

With luck there will be some trashy women walking around in their daughters clothes .  Which btw, Remington’s had some lookers of varying social status and clothes last night .

Daughters birthday today so sushi lunch and hit the fair later. Mama and I shared a chorizo poboy , cowboy nachos and a lemonade. People watching is outstanding there. Daughter and her boyfriend meandered by themselves
Did not get any of this corn. And love the sign

Nope.... not til the NYS fair is done. 

It funny we say that same thing here after the NYS in Syracuse.
