Independent  dog . Is a good thing . Still needs to learn to come . When there young I always  hide on them to play on there desire to be with me . I change directions every time they get to far ... if they dont pay attention  I  hide .  When they find you it's a big fuss and a treat . Still had a few I had  to put an e collar on . 

Some people think its cruel or not needed.  All dogs have there own traits character.  I have had some pretty head strong dogs .

  My first dogs was a big male setter . First time out   he chased a pheasant acrossed a road and was hit and killed . Wouldn't stop . Or come reliably.  My failure . At 14 it was a tuff lesson . Never to be repeated.
