Steuben Jerry
With the nonstop rain yesterday we went out for a drive to a local spot that we’ve known about for a year, but hadn’t gotten around to checking out yet. Mud Creek Bison Ranch is about 5 miles from our house in the village of Savona. Cool place, they have a road that winds around the farm and you can drive through for free (donations are encouraged) and check out the Bison - being a Bills fan, I’d rather call them Buffalo. At the end of the drive you can purchase meats. We bought a pack of Mesquite snack sticks and a pound of ground for lunch burgers. Good stuff!
Daveboone
Cool. We had a Bison ranch up the road from us for a number of years, but it shut down as many of the exotic species ranches did, back in the 90s.

Moho81
One hour and 42 min from my house. I could see this becoming a road trip for the family on a nice day. Thanks for posting this.
rob-c
Nice , we’ve known about the bison ranch ourselves but have never been. Funny how things are so close but one never finds time to go.
grampy
The Bison Ranch looks like a cool place to check out! I've eaten Bison meat a few times. Good stuff.

About how long of a ride is it through the ranch’s road and 2. What’s a good local restaurant we could order take out through? They had some monster bulls at one time. There is (was?) another big ranch up near Henderson Harbor
