Is it going to be a long, hot summer?  I do not mean this in the “global warming” sense, but in the increase in crime reality.

Crime usually increases during the summer (https://www.bjs.gov/index.cfm?ty=pbdetail&iid=5028), but will it be more historically higher?  I say this from viewing news reports of increased “gun violence” and neighborly watch reports of allege youth mischief, not the recent violent protests and riots.

I am concerned with so much disintegrating support and trust in law enforcement by some in society, those individuals may continue to push the police into needless confrontation.  A couple of recent examples are:

1. A large force of police officers in riot gear are confronted by a man who appears to be blocking the police from moving forward.  To further complicate the situation, the man places himself in front of an officer close enough to effectively stab or shoot him.  So when the man is push away he falls…….and it is the police officers fault?

2. An allege drunk driver acts cooperatively.  He suddenly tries to escape and in the process takes the Taser away from an officer.  He then turns and points the weapon at the officer.  So in the process of protecting himself, the police officer shoots the man……….and it’s the police officers fault?

So will it be a long, hot summer?

yup it will be feel sorry for cops in city, i would actually like to see one major city abolish police force i can guarentee that city would not be standing by the end of summer and then dumb people would be like where were the police

Many buck shot, handgun rounds , AR rounds , shotgun slugs are in short supply right now , and will stay that way through the election at least . Buds guns had 670 SKU of 9mm ammo on their site , 665 were out of stock , zero 300 Blackout rounds . Of course it’s going to be a bad summer, upstate cities have seen a rise in shootings ,and killings since all the anti cop stuff started  . No cop is going to be proactive in today’s anti police climate, they’re only taking radio calls , otherwise it’s “ I see nothing . “

Oh and add in bail reform , here’s your appearance ticket for your felony have a nice day !

The front page of the June 22, 2020 edition of the New York Post states “NYC gun pandemic: 1 shot per hour”.  One shot per hour?  NYC requires all firearms be registered and forget getting a pistol permit.  Maybe they should be “registering” violent sociopaths, NOT firearms.

Where is Governor Andrew Cuomo lamenting “I do not want people to die.”?  Cuomo must be beside himself wondering why all his gun control is not saving these poor victims.  Maybe those murderers never heard Cuomo’s words of wisdom that “YOU DON’T NEED TEN BULLETS TO KILL A DEER!”

The heat is on and is looks to be a long, hot summer.

The front page of the June 29, 2020 edition of the New York Post states “CITY OUT OF CONTROL”, “Bottles hurled at police in Harlem”, “11 shot in less than 12 hours” and “Top cop: Officers confused right now”.   What do you expect from a government that is sympathetic to anarchists and scream psychotic rants like “YOU DON’T NEED TEN BULLETS TO KILL A DEER!”.  Who is really in charge of the asylum?

So if the “CITY OUT OF CONTROL”, where is the National Guard to restore order?  What is Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill DiBlasio doing?  It is not Cuomo’s and DiBlasio’s responsibility to maintain order or did they leave some anarchist is charge?

“Bottles hurled at police in Harlem” by those social justice and peace loving people?  And they wonder why some in law enforcement are suspicious of these “people”.

“11 shot in less than 12 hours” is more proof the SAFE Act, NYC gun registrations and all the other gun control nonsense does not work.  Cuomo and DiBlasio need to go back to the “how do we control violent crime” drawing board.  Still sooner or later Cuomo and his gun control advocates will be seeking more gun control laws that will NOT fix the problem. 

“Top cop: Officers confused right now”.  Maybe they are confused because the anarchists want to defund the police, assault them and even kill them.  If I were a police officer I would not be confused, I would be acting like I was in the combat zone, watching out for my buddies and me!

The long, hot summer continues.

they are in a combat zone and should be able to react properly but, as we seen in other states/city even when there actions are justified and by policy they are being fired and charged with crimes by politicians who do not support the police  but bough to the rioters and the demands of the minority

The solution is simple.  Give them what they are asking for.

Block off any area of the city they don't want cops to go, and don't allow cops in those "no go" zones for ANY reason.

Let them see the results of their idiotic demands.  

When the people who are allowing the lawlessness get fed up and start to demand police protect them, send in the police like a blitz and clean out every lawless loon that tries to stop them.  Then clamp a lid on any lawlessness that happens afterwards.

If people once again begin to protest the police, simply threaten to reinstate the police "no go" zone again.

well not going to comment on movie, but dems are now trying to get rid of qualified immunity for police. Maybe some people dont know what this is basically it says if a police officer acts within his duties, dosn't act in manner that is not justified or illegal,  he cant not be held responsible for civil penalties .... so in short what dems want is even if u do your job as police officer properly   u can still be sued and then have to pay all cost if this actually gets threw all police should walk.... and from personal knowledge you can be sued for doing everything correct....

After watching the insanity of Democrats for the last 3.5 years trying to succeed at a political coup right up to a BS impeachment, seeing them defend an illegal immigrant invasion, attacking the Electoral College, attacking the 2nd Amendment, pushing Socialism and defending Communism, then seeing all they have done to ruin the economy as well as the lives of ALL American citizens in 2020 by making them all fear dying from a flu virus that only threatens .5% of the population, then watching them support riots, looting and insurrection based on a false narrative of "systemic racism", which morphed out of a false "police brutality" narrative, and now pushing another BS claim of Russian bounties for dead American military personnel based on BS "anonymous sources",  if you still think they can be trusted with power in America, you need to be considered an enemy of the state.

Anyone who cannot, by this time, with all of the evidence presented, see the leftist Democrats as power hungry totalitarians that want to control and enslave every citizen in this country, needs to be considered a threat to the rights, freedoms and liberty of all Americans.

It's way passed time to stop blaming the Leftist Totalitarian Marxist elected hacks in America, and start putting the blame where it truly belongs, the people in the country that keep voting them into power so they can destroy the country.

If you think that is extreme, you simply don't realize they have been blaming you for all of their self inflicted misery for 4 years now.  Debating these loons is futile.  It's time to start getting dirty and putting an end to this hatred of America.

I'm done with treating them like reasonable, rational, civilized citizens capable of respect.  They do not qualify for reasonable doubt anymore.  They are the real threat to America and they need to be stopped.  The country has tolerated their juvenile temper tantrums for far too long.  It's time to stand up and let them know, they either start working in the best interest of ALL Americans or they can consider themselves enemies of ALL Americans.  Choose a side.

Almost live from a Rochester !  My feeling is this is going to be an “interesting “ weekend “ as well as summer  . My advise to fiends and family is stay the F out of the city ,my daughter lives in a suburb North of the city but works in the south part of it , she circles around the city .
