I usually dehydrate anywhere from 50-100 pounds of ground venison each season. I was out of all my mixes so put in an order with PS I think I got enough to hold me for a while. Enough for 150 pounds lol.

Fletch, I'm curious how the Landyaeger seasoning turns out. That's one of the sausages I miss most since my German hunting friend passed. He always had landyaegers made from a German butcher, they were great. I tried my hand at it with seasonings from the Sausage maker but never turned out the same.

I keep it in the fridge, I have not had it last more than a month due to it getting eaten. But I would guess it would last for many months in fridge just fine.

Cabelas peppered jerky seasoning for ground meat here, want it hot add pepper flakes. $7 makes 3 5lb batches. Brats I use bearded butcher blend seasoning and get a 5lb bag every other year.

I've vacuum seal all my jerky. One time I found a bag that was probably at least 3 years old maybe 4+ still sealed in my bowling bag. I opened it up and then proceeded to eat it and it was delicious!
