Always hunt thanksgiving morning till 11am-12pm.

I will be! Until 10ish, then come in, shower, grab beer, fry turkey, eat. Hopefully there is a added step of "gut deer" before the shower.

i usually go out until 11am or 12 then head back home. im going out in the morning just havent made my mind up where yet lol. good luck to everyone and have a good thanksgiving

Its a ritual since I was small that we celebrate Thanksgiving in the city with family, then all the hunters head upstate to hunt Friday and weekend.

I don't hunt on Thanksgiving . We always have the kids and their families at the house and have a crowd .

I had done so several years ago , shot a deer at the last minute and by the time I field dressed it , got it loaded and arrived home , the guests were P.O.'d for having to wait for dinner . I don't hunt that day just as a courtesy .

Went on the tradition hunt this morning. We have a couple of drives we leave alone all year and hunt them thanksgiving. This is the 5th time in the last 6 years we have gotten a buck. Today it was nice 8 pointer 150lbs. He was with a doe, the rut is definetly on in 5G, new rubs and scraps everywhere.

I was out yesterday, hunted out of my stand for the morning then went out and did some drives with a group of guys. We saw a few deer, but they werent playing along well, and we didnt put anything on the ground. It was still a great day though.

Brother got a basket 3 yesterday . It was the only deer we saw. Really slow and only hearing a couple of shots this morn
