Kmartinson
I'm fortunate enough to have a decent group of fowlers and I would guess we are scouting 100 miles in every direction, everyones looking for the x and keeping tabs on the roosts. We set up on anything and sometimes that means you have to get creative. Just try to your best mimick what you see, where you see it. The X is the key. This is three days before season.... the bottom picture is opener. Things change all the time. We went from 300 birds to 6 birds in three days.
Whereareyoubuck
I saw 2 different nice looking 6-pointers on my cameras a few weeks ago, eating together. Hopefully this portends good things to come!

Robhuntandfish
Forecast for the opener looks like high of 60 and scattered showers 20% around here. I'm only going after work but looking forward to it.

Robhuntandfish
We need a harvest thread for the deer season. I only see one for xbow. Maybe just one for all of deer/bear season to cover them all at least. @fasteddie. Thought maybe Eddie can pin one for us , I see wnybuckhunter hasn't been on in a month. WNY Bowhunter
Always fun to take my wife out for a little preseason freezer filling adventure. We were covered up in deer for the past couple of evenings including several nice bucks that would have been in trouble had it been November. Can't wait to get back out thursday!Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk
Robhuntandfish
Awesome . Nice to start off with a full freezer. Those farm permits are pretty handy to have and kinda help allow you to look for a big buck. Color me jealous.

Swamp_bucks
Well I think I love my wife alittle more after today. She told me before be I left for work she found me a sitter for Thursday night so I can pick up my son at 3 from daycare drop him off at her mom's and off to the woods. She said since I've been itching to get out she said to go. this week just got better. Edited September 28, 2020 by Swamp_bucks

But an early doe to stock the freezer would be awesome. Cause I have a feeling that damn 4 point that always walks out early is in trouble this year. As much as I hate to burn my buck tag early, prob not holding back much this season.

Robhuntandfish
looks like one of the cooler openers in a long time. Not taking it off but going after work. A quick superman change in the office and in the groundblind in 15 minutes.
