Only thing I miss about the covid shutdown

Th only thing I miss about the covid shut down is the fact I didn't get any robo calls or damn telemarketers calling me . 3 calls in 2 hours at home and 3 on my cell so far this day. 

Oh one more thing ... traffic was alot lighter in the beginning of the shutdown ...

No robo calls, no traffic and no where to go. I miss having all those free weekends. I could really use those free weekends to finish up that hunting shack.

Not so much on LI. The troopers have been doing brisk business on the Southern State 2 out of my last 3 trips. Saw 5 cars pulled over within a mile on 1 trip and 3 cars on the 2nd.

I always tell then I sold the car long ago and bought a brand new one so I dont need their warranty. Screws them all up.  I get health insurance calls  too , but my favorite is credit card calls . My Father In law had a great answer for them when they offered up a card. He would ask them how fast they can get the card to him. He told them he was dying of cancer and wanted to run the card to the limit before he goes. And then he would hear  CLICK !

Yeah, they’ve been back on their normal enforcement for a while now, but April and May were great for quicker rides to work. And no passing lane hogs either, which is my personal peeve.

Aah yes. The zen months of April & May, when folks drove well above the posted limits, but did so safely, courteously and without aggravation. Nice break from the otherwise depressing times.

Yeah the NYS Thruway was a pleasure to drive on at the beginning , now its starting to return to normal and its also Highway repair season !

Most of the time I don't answer if I don't recognize the phone number . If I answer and get a telemarketer , I lay the phone down and let them talk away . It's their dime . No one is listening .
