Of all of the bucks that I have had on cam this year...this young stud ranks up there as one of my favorites. I only captured him twice over the summer as I believe he was focusing on some beans down the road always. Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised to finally get a few good pics of him and have my fingers crossed that he can survive for another year or two. He's definitely one of the best looking 3.5 yr olds that I've had on this farm in the 12 years that I've been running cams here. 

Last year at 2.5. I have both sheds...

He's only a 3 yr old which would make the pass even tougher! My wife said he would look good on her wall RIGHT NOW!!! LOL

He would look exactly like he does now except for maybe a little dust from having on the wall.

It'll take alot of intestinal fortitude to pass him in NY. He is and could continue to be a special buck should he survive the season.

As he is now, he'd be the buck of a lifetime around these parts. Perhaps even multiple lifetimes.

To have a property where you can actually consider letting a buck like that pass, is very rare here in NYS. I envy you sir!!!

Fingers crossed that he shows up again post season.  A buddy of mine who hunts an adjacent property passed him last season but says he probably won't pass him this year if the opportunity presents itself.

Overall, this area is typical NYS deer hunting...lots of pressure with little QDM being practiced. Luckily, there's enough cover around that a few bucks manage to make it to maturity. This ain't Iowa by any means!!!
