I dont believe the lungs  can function like that once the sealed chest area is exposed .

Yep, even a broadhead hole through the diaphragm makes it real tough for them to breathe.

saw this and it's too real looking to fake. theory i heard was a combine perhaps. just illustrates how tough these bastards are.

Looks real to me, I think it came out of Effingham, Illinois, about an hour north of where I'm from. I can't verify it, but the video and other trail cam pic looks real enough. The deer is obviously in distress. Probably a combine injury. Jumping deer in a cornfield, they get all kinds of crazy, and don't know which way the sound is coming from, and can't figure out which way to run. Hopefully he doesn't suffer long.

I wonder if that deer was hit by a vehicle and pushed along the road to rip it open and break it's leg .

Or possibly it didn't get out of the way of a corn harvester .
