Is it too late?

READ...........................................Yes, he told us in advance what he planned to do.[

Few were listening

The following is a narrative taken from a 2008 Sunday morning televised "Meet The Press."

From Sunday's 07 Sept. 2008, 11:48:04 EST, Televised "Meet the Press" the then Senator Obamawas asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Ginn, USAF (ret), asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

The General stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...

During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention, facing the flag, with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".

]NOW GET THIS !!

]'Senator' []Obama replied:

"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides....." "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression..." "The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air, and all that sort of thing."

(ARE YOU READY FOR THIS???)[

Obama continued:, "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute[]it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem[]as well as 'redesign' our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm ]to the level of acceptance]to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of warring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails - - - perhaps astate or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments ......"

]"When I become President, I will seek a pact of agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts . We as a Nation, have placed upon the nations of Islam, an unfair injustice, which is WHY my wife disrespects the Flag, and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past."

]"Of course now, I have found myself about to become the President of the ]United States[]and I have put my hatred aside]. I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path. []My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country's First black Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the [/United States ofAmerica

]Yes, you read it right.

EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NEEDS TO READ THIS, KEEP IT GOING ! !SAVE AMERICA BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE ! !

Hoax.

Analysis: No, presidential candidate Barack Obama didn't actually utter those asinine words.

Some of the words — specifically the sentences quoted first in the earlier variant above, e.g., "I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it" — were put in Obama's mouth by conservative humorist John Semmens (see his October 27, 2007 column, "Semi-News, on the Arizona Conservative website).

The quotes are fictitious. In the original article, the intent was satirical.

Semmens's barbs were aimed at two of candidate Obama's actions early on in the presidential campaign that were perceived by some as insufficiently patriotic: 1) his decision to stop wearing a U.S. flag pin, and 2) his failure to place his hand over his heart during a rendition of the national anthem at a public event in 2007.

Of the first (not wearing a flag pin), Obama's actual explanation went as follows:

"You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest. Instead, I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully that will be a testimony to my patriotism." (Source: ABC News, Oct. 4, 2007.)

Obama took to wearing a flag lapel pin during public appearances after becoming President.

As to the second item (failure to salute during the national anthem), the implication that Obama has taken an ideological stand against saluting the flag is misleading and unsupported by evidence. He wascaught on film one time singing along, hands clasped in front of him instead of putting his right hand over his heart, during the national anthem. On literally scores of other occasions before and since, he has been photographed with hand over heart.

An Obama aide observed:

"Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't [put his hand on his heart]. In no way was he making any sort of statement, and any suggestion to the contrary is ridiculous." (Source: Inside Edition, October 23, 2007.)

This email may be a hoax, but his socialist platform is real. Can you believe in socialism? Obama has showed us what he can do as president, nothing, except damaging health care , rammig it down, the American publics throats. This countrys campaining has become a celebrity contest. What's happen to the real issues, this country is facing? All have been clouded by nonsense. All for the news media benefit.

The email may be a hoax, but Obama's stupidity isn't. Have you ever seen the youtube videos of him speaking without his teleprompter? ..........

This is just one of many. He should stick top stand-up comedy.

And they made fun of George W ....... lol. Funny how the liberal media never gets into the goof-ups that this guy makes, but they never did cut George any slack did they. Remember how quickly they jumped on Dan Quayle because he spelled potato wrong. Love that double standard. Frankly, I really worry about a president that can't keep track of where his thoughts are heading.

Well GW did talk like a tree fell on his head.

And the infamous potato incident was when a kid spelled the word on a chaulk board and Danny boy corrected him and insisted there was an e at the end of it.

You would think public speaking would be VERY important to any leader, guess not any more as we have technology to cover one's butt.

It is only going to get worse, Doe as time goes on. You wouldn't believe the resumes I get with internet abbreviations on them. Email responses for interviews with typos. It drives me nuts. I am not spelling or typing wiz but I sure can use spell check on the programs out there. Wait until this generation hits office. (no offense to the younger crowd)

Sadly those aren't little things, the growing debt will crush this nation and our childrens future, from 10 trillion to over 15 trillion in just 3 years and now he wants another 1+ trillion. Even the Republicans are to blame for this, they keep going along with the vote.

The more money they print the higher inflation will go.

OK speaking of e-mail this was sent today... Think you will like it...

"US budget explained in simple english.

I love it when complex things are simplified so that we can all understand.

US Tax revenue: 2,170,000,000,000

Fed Budget: 3,820,000,000,000

New debt: 1,650,000,000,000

National debt: 14,271,000,000,000

Recent budget cut: 38,500,000,000

Now remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget.

Annual family income: 21,700

Money the family spent: 38,200

New debt on credit cards: 16,500

Outstanding balance on credit: 142,710

Total Budget cuts which some politicians are proud about: $385

Stop the insanity now. Vote them out and demand a balanced budget."

That was the e-mail retyped... We really need to do something soon or our your children will have no future...

I have to blame the people who voted for him, and those who will vote for him again. Please don't tell me you're one of them. I don't like to hurt people.

Here's the problem ..... Take a look at the list of challengers. They're all a bunch of loser-crackpots. So in the end we are forced to choose the lesser of the two evils. What kind of way is that to choose the leader of the country? There is something very wrong when the career of politics only draws the corrupt and mentally deficient. And then when presented with all these idiots, we are told to choose one. ...... What a joke. Except it's not really very funny.

Sure, when it comes to Obama, the choice is simple. He represents the absolute extreme of the philosophy that I believe has ruined this country. But let's face it, the alternatives are not much of a prize either. No wonder the American voter gets a bit confused at times. We're always given a no-win choice.
